IMPROVING READING-ALOUD ABILITY WITH A CONSTRUCTIVISM APPROACH FOR GRADE 2 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS

T his paper discusses the improvement of reading - aloud ability grade 2 elementary school students through a constructivism approach. The r esearch uses classroom action method , which begins with pre cycle stages, 1 and where each stage includes planning, implementation, observation, reflection. After carrying out research procedures collecting data, results indicate that -aloud using approach provided significant increase in ’ reading-aloud . assessment indicators reading- were pronunciation, intonation, fluency, students' courage describes an test average pre-cycle score was 67.85 increased to 73.53 1.
